About us:

We, operate our Hotel Melanie Garni since the year 1991.

It all started with a small bed and breakfast house...

In the following years we growed our house continuously.

On 1 July 2004, our hotel was first time awarded by the DEHOGA Thuringia with the certificate of the German hotel classification with 3 stars. Above all, the personal contact with our guests is very important to us.

We invite you to be a our guests and to spend nice days in Ilmenau and to follow in the footsteps of Goethe!

As of June 1st, we are certified by the German Hiking Association as a quality host of "Wanderbares Deutschland"

(Marvelous Germany).
